2010-06-11 9:27 AM Bye Bye Rob, Hello Mom Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: So-So Read/Post Comments (0) Yesterday was harsh. Around 2pm or so, I started getting some bad pains in my left arm that ended up radiating up and into my jaw. I also had some weird feelings in my chest and started to freak out. That whole "impending sense of doom" was upon me. I had no idea if I was having a heart attack or a very bad panic attack. Normally, my panic attacks come on with sharp pains in my chest. Never before have they started with problems with my left arm. I called Rob and told him what was happening. It could be something that I would need to go into the ER for or it could be a bad panic attack. I just didn't know. I took a panic attack pill, but that takes about an hour or so to fully kick in. He spoke with his boss and was allowed to work from home for the rest of the day. He came home and while he was on his way, I called my Mom. I stayed on the phone with her for the time he was coming home. That way, if something happened to me, she would know and could call Rob and tell him to call 911. When Rob got home I got off the phone and rested for a bit. In the end, I think it was just a really horrible panic attack. Later that night Rob did find a bad knot in my left arm and tried to work it out and put a Tiger Balm patch on it. If I have any problems with that again over the next few days, I'll head into the ER. Though now that it's passed I'm fairly sure it was a horrible panic attack. Rob left this morning to head to Connecticut for his sister Ellen's wedding. They're having it in John's back yard. Gabriel and I are staying at home because the expense of bringing us along was more than we could handle. So, he's currently at the airport waiting for his flight out. My Mom will be coming out here for the weekend to give me a hand with Gabriel and so that I have some adult company. It should be nice. Oh, I watched a movie the other day and wanted to mention it on here because of how amazing it was. It's a foreign film and it is subtitled. It's called "Let The Right One In" and is a very neat take on the vampire mythos. I'd recommend it to fans of vampire films, foreign films, or artsy movies. ----------
