I'm worried about my Dad. He called my Mom the other day to let her know that he had spent last week in the hospital with pneumonia. He's out of the hospital now, but has to see a pulmonologist this week. Scary.

Last night we took Gabriel over to get his hair cut with Jen. Once again, she did a great job. She also told us that the place she used to work at (and the place we used to take Gabriel to get his hair done - Kid Dos) had closed. His hair looks great today.

Gabriel and I had an amusing conversation the other day. I noticed that he had pooped a bit in his pants and hadn't told me that he needed to use the potty.

Me: Gabriel, do you need to make poopy on the potty?
Gabriel: No.
Me: Then why is there some poopy in your pants?
Gabriel: No idea.

So, today Rob is off to the State Fair. Normally I'd be a wee bit grouchy that he's off at the Fair while I'm stuck at home, but not today. Today I'd much rather be at home in the air conditioning. Even if I had been offered to go there with him, I would have said no. Being out in sunny, close to 90 degree weather, in super high humidity is not my idea of a fun time. Plus, when he was reading off the various food vendors to me yesterday, I realized there's almost nothing I can eat there. So today, I shall sit inside in the air conditioned apartment playing Power Rangers with Gabriel while he melts in the sun.
