Gabriel seemed to have a great fifth birthday yesterday. After getting up and ready he opened his presents. I think his favorite from Nana was the Kirby's Epic Yarn video game. I think his favorite from Rob and I was either the stuffed Kirby or the stuffed chibi Michael Meyers doll.

We let him choose anywhere he wanted to go for lunch, and he picked Baskin Robbins for ice cream. I think he was surprised when we said yes. So, we had ice cream for lunch and then headed to Toys R Us.

At Toys R Us my Mom let him go on a shopping spree and he picked out a few more toys and DS video games that he wanted.

Dinner was had at Chuck E. Cheese and he even got to meet and hang out with Chuck E. twice. He played some games, won some tickets, and walked away with a plastic spider that he was able to get for 60 tickets.

When we got back home we let him blow the candles out on his cake. It was a kirby cake. Yellow cake, custard center, cream cheese frosting, and a kirby face as the decoration. He loved it and it was very tasty.

Today, he's pretty sick. He has a very bad cough and just wants to stay curled up on the couch next to me with his pillow pet dog as a pillow. So, Rob is off and doing the grocery shopping while I stay with my sick sweetie.
