2011-09-01 10:21 AM Fall and Kindergarten Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Owie Read/Post Comments (0) Yesterday I took a bit of a nasty fall. I ended up skinning the palms of both of my hands and my right knee and twisting my ankle. I got the ankle checked out, nothings broken (thank God), but it is a severe sprain. I'm supposed to keep it elevated, ice it, and wrap it when I walk. He said in about a week it should feel better and I should be able to walk fine. Probably about two weeks for the total heal time. Though, if it still hurts in a month then I'll need an MRI to check and see if something bad happened to the tendons or ligaments. I'm guessing it's just a bad sprain and will heal on it's own. But damn, it hurts to walk on. Today is Gabriel's first day of Kindergarten. His class has been changed and he's now in Mrs. R's class. I love her as a teacher and think Gabriel will like this a lot. Rob and I both dropped him off this morning. He had one freak out over there being "too many kids" but other than that he seemed fine with us leaving. Rob dropped me off at home and helped me to get upstairs before he headed off to work. So, we'll see how today goes for Gabriel when he's picked up from school.
