Yay! Tomorrow is Gabriel's sixth birthday! I guess time flies when you're having fun because it does not seem like I gave birth to him six whole years ago.

So, we're all busy doing prep work for this. Yesterday I headed to Molly's Gluten Free Bakery to get cookies for his class. One of the kids in his class can't have any gluten in her diet, so I wanted to make sure she wasn't left out for the treats (the sad thing is that I'm the first parent to do this). Today those cookies were dropped off in his classroom. Gabriel's in school now with his birthday crown on.

On his way home from work yesterday, Rob picked up one of those giant cookies from Mrs. Fields. It says Happy Birthday on it in light blue. This will be the treat at his party tomorrow. He'll have a cake for home as well from our local and totally amazing Cakes While U Wait bakery. It's a chocolate cake with custard on the inside and white frosting - Mr. Bump will be on it as per Gabriel's request.

Tomorrow is his party at Chuck E. Cheese. He invited Z and Q - the boys who live across the street (who are both on the Autism spectrum like he is) and L, a girl he met who is in another Kindergarten class (and is also on the spectrum). He also wanted to invite Mrs. F - one of his teachers who he loves dearly and I'm so happy she said she would come! Hopefully, he'll have a blast at the party.

Mom is coming in to town today and will be here for his birthday as well.

I hope my little guy has the best birthday ever tomorrow!
