The experimental antibiotic seems to be working. The doctor thinks that Cupcake will make a full recovery. Not only that, but he's going to be famous. Since he's the first sugar glider to have ever used this antibiotic (and it was successful) his doctor is going to be writing him up in a paper, with his name and pictures! So, it looks like Cupcake will be all right.

The doctor did, however, say that he seems to need a cage mate. I thought it would take awhile to find one that wasn't the classic gray color (I don't want two that look the same), but I was wrong. Luck came my way again and not only did I find a breeder in Wisconsin (about two hours north of us), but she has a white mosaic ready to find a home. I put the deposit down on him and we'll be bringing him into the family on Saturday January 26th. Yay!
