We have had such a great mini vacation! Tempest, Purge, Paul and I have gone to many of our favorite restaurants, malls and shops. I have eaten until I am in pain. I have played computer games so much that my eyes will not stop watering. Tempest introduced me to the most wonderful lotion from Bath and Body works - Eucalyptus Spearmint. It smells wonderful. I also got a pair of sandels that make me a couple inches taller, but they are really comfortable. One thing we never got to do...sit by the pool and relax, read a book. Which means that in the 5+ months I have been here, I still have not been to the pool.

So I will be very sad to see our friends leave in the morning. It has been so great to have them here. I enjoyed a 4 day weekend, and next week is a holiday week as well. Paul starts his online classes this week, so we will be back to the hermit life. Which means...Baldurs Gate 2 for Brenda. (Or Dark Alliance, I am really hooked on that one too!)

In other notes, Al, life really does get better. I really can't offer you any advice, because everyone needs to handle it their own way, but you and Jess have a really special relationship, and you will get each other through this.
