Ok, it is officially hot out now. I went for a nice walk this morning in the 98 degree weather, and I think my feet have melted. (The tan is coming along nicely though!) This week has been a quiet one. Worked like a mad woman, babysat on Thursday night so that Jenn and Adam could enjoy an anniversary dinner. (Happy 4 year Anniversary!) And last night bought some craft supplies for some holiday projects that Mom gave me patterns for.

On Thursday my company had a "sample sale" where they sell off samples and give the money to charity. I found the most beautiful long skirt/suit for $5.00. Yes, you read that right, 5 dollars! Woo Hoo! And it is not green! (most of my clothes are either black or green.)

And as for the phones, I finally got in touch with my Mom this morning, as a nasty storm knocked out all the phones in the area last night. There is nothing like one of those storms, where you can hear the thunder echoing in the hills.

Tonight we are planning on going to a baseball game. The TX Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox. Should be fun, especially if both of us show up wearing Mets caps...
