Jade had her first Dr. appointment today. All went well. She is starting to gain back some weight (babies lose a bit of their birth weight in the first couple days- very normal), and she has grown 1/2 inch. So that makes her 7lbs 8oz, and 20 1/2 inches long.

The Dr. office is located in building where I work, so I also stopped at my office to say hello. I am amazed at the reaction people have to Jade. Strangers will stop us to look at her as we were walking up to my office. It was good to see everyone, even though the visit was very brief.

After that, we stopped for takeout lunch and went home. This was my first time out of the house in a week, so it felt really good. Of course I then proceeded to sleep all afternoon.
