Paul and I (and Jade of course) went to the comic book shop today, and indulged in a lot of comics. I got 2 issues of Oh My Goddess, and book 2 of the Sandman series. I love Sandman. Dark and wonderfully written, Neil Gaiman is just great. And we want to get Jade into comics as young as possible;-)

The rest of my day was very busy. This morning Jenn and I (and offspring) went to the new Toy R Us that opened today. It was nice. I got a crib mattress very cheap. I will have to go back before Jade goes to day care, to get all the supplies we need!

After the toy store, we had to go to the day care and meet the teachers, and fill out paperwork. I also visited with all my coworkers. I go back to work in 2 weeks. I am will be happy to be back. Not that I don't love being with Jade, she is adorable and I love her to little bits. I am just looking forward to the challenges of my job. As for the day care, I have to get a lot of supplies together for her! I also want to get a couple toys for her crib. We have to make a collage of family pictures to put in her crib, so she can see us while we are at work. Cute, and it will give my a couple projects to work on for a couple days.

Jade is 4 weeks old now. She is already getting bigger. She had her first bottle feeding today. We have to get her used to bottles so she can eat at day care. It is a bit strange to watch Paul feed her, after I have been the sole provider for the last few weeks. He is so good with her.

Ok, before we get to sappy, I am off to read Sandman, and go to bed. (irony eh?)
