It is October. This is the time of the playoffs and world series. This year I would really love to see the Cubs vs Red Sox, but I have a feeling the Yankees will not let that happen. I am really starting to dislike the Yankees. The reason for my being grateful and pleased is that my baby got a gift in the mail yesterday, from the crew at the New Baltimore town hall. (My hometown.) They sent a baby dish set and sippy cup. With the NY Mets logo on them. How cool is that! I also will say that Jade has gotten a LOT of great gifts, including a beautiful jade butterfly pendant from the Stoneburners. (and I still have many thank you notes to send...) She has also gotten several handmade blankets from various people, including Shelley. All these wonderful gifts that I treasure now, and Jade will cherish later. I really can't wait for so many of you to meet her.

News on the Paul front - he had to send the new laptop back for repairs. The wireless component did not work, so they are going to fix it and send it back sometime late this month or early November. This has interupted his ability to post or update, so please have patience!

Not much other news. Spent the weekend cleaning so far. I have a bit of a headache today, so taking it easy. Jade is sleeping to the sounds of Billy Joel in her bassinet. (What did you expect her to be listening to?!)
