It was the weekend of repairs here. My car window broke, and had to be taken to the shop today. Our sprinkler system lost a head that needs to be replaced. Went to Home Depot to get the part, and bought the wrong size. So I got my car back this afternoon, but didn't have time to get the sprinkler head returned, that will be tomorrow's excitement.

In the fun department, we bought Jade a little plastic pool, filled it up and let her play. (Yes, it was near 80 on Saturday.) She loved it! She also has a little sprinkler that she played with. She just loves playing in the water. We need to get a sun shade for the back porch though. It was really sunny, and I had to take her back inside so she wouldn't get a burn. She was also starting to turn blue!

Now if we could just get her to go to sleep. She figured out how to get out of her playpen, so we are having problems getting her to stay in bed. Tonight I stopped at Toys R Us and bought a door gate. She is now in her room, screaming in protest. But if she goes to sleep before 11pm, then its worth it! (of course that really doesn't help the feelings of extreme guilt I have right now...)

Not much else going on. Still love the new job. Learning quite a bit about gemstones. I am also liking the gym. I try to go several times a week during my lunch break. It wakes me up, and makes the afternoon go faster.
