Wow what a weekend! We stayed up way too late every night, but we had a lot of fun. Of course we were playing warcraft... We got several instances done, and got to play with several different characters. Much fun. It is nice to be able to chat with your friends every day, especially since they are all so far away. (Now we just need to get UIM, Al and Jess to join!) In real life, I have booked a trip to LA in a few weeks to go to my big sisters baby shower. I can't wait, it will be great to see everyone, but way too short. I am leaving Friday night (7/22) and flying back on Sunday. This will be my first time away from Jade. Sniff sniff.

Jade spent the 4th with some friends and seemed to have a great time. She went to the fireworks, and loved it. (We cleaned the house while she was gone, what fun.) Otherwise, she is picking up new words every day. She is singing, sort of. If you haven't already, do check out the videos on her website. They are very cute. It cooled off enough this weekend for us to go out and play in her pool for a bit. She has so much fun in the water.

I have also decided that our parakeet has a death wish. She keeps flying into the cat. Not any cat, but Nightmare. Both bird and cat have survived so far, but we are keeping a close eye on them!
