I can not beleive how devestating this hurricane has been. I have never been to New Orleans, but so many of my friends and co-workers are from that area, that it has been beyond heartbreaking. Over 900 JCP employees are affected by the hurricane, and we don't know the status of many of them. I have friends who are missing family memebers. So many of my co-workers have family there, and no word yet. At least 25,000 people are being evacuated to Dallas. We have already seen a lot of fund raisers, asking for food and clothes, I think we will see much more in the next few days, as the buses start rolling in.

It is one thing to see it on TV. It is entirely different when you are actually seeing the secondary effects.
