One of my goals for this year was to run a 5k. I did it this past weekend! (Actually it was more then 5k, it was 4 miles!) I was slow, but it was fun. I will definately keep up the running. I have a nike attachment for my ipod, and Paul has given me a challenge to complete. So goodness there!

We also had a trip to NY a couple weeks ago. Sadly, Pauls grandfather passed away, and we went home for the funeral. While there was much sadness, it was also great to see the family. Jade was fantastic, and she seemed to have fun playing with her cousins. (technically 2nd cousins? I am never sure how that works!) It was also COLD! I now remember why I moved south.

In another life learning, I found out today what deathly food allergies are all about. Apparently healthy living can indeed kill you. I am allergic to healthy cereal. Yes, I ended up in the med center getting shots and making everyone worry. Fun stuff. All is well now, but I can pretty much guarantee that I will never eat that cereal again!!!
