There are definately some days, hours, minutes...where I wonder about my parenting skills. I am blessed with a wonderful little girl. For the most part, very well behaved, good tempered and sweet. Sometimes she isn't, but then, she is only 3. So am I being a bad parent by not being able to control the laughter that come out when she proudly shows me how she can pee in her bath water? Or when she tells me to shush, she isn't finished talking yet...or when she comes out of her room completely dressed, in the most hideous combination ever created? Sigh. I just laugh. I can't help it.

Today's humor is as follows. We have problems with Jade going to bed. She doesn't sleep. She can go to bed at 11 and get up at 6, and be just fine. Downright perky. Its a bit annoying for the "I need my eight hours" mommy. So we decided to try a new tactic. We bought her an alarm clock. Not to wake her up, but to tell her when to go to bed. I set it to ring at bedtime. Last night, the alarm rang, we explained that it was time for bed. Worked pretty well. Tonight, I got home, brought out the clock and set the alarm. I reminded her that it would ring when it was time for bed. While I was doing laundry...she hid the clock. Smart girl.

And an eye update. So far so good! No issues, and still have great vision. I am very happy.
