2008-11-28 7:12 PM November is almost over??!! Holy cow, this month has just flown by. Homework, school, work, illness, holidays. Its been fun, but chaotic.
Paul has been participating in Nanowrimo this month, so I have been trying hard to keep Jade busy. This means she has fallen asleep with me more then a few times. Paul caught a nasty cold/flu, passed it on to me, then I gave it to Jade. Thankfully Jade and I were not nearly as sick as Paul, we both had our flu shots already! The new wow expansion came out and I have been playing a bit more then I probably should. I have gotten a good amount of my holiday shopping done. Although we did find at least one more thing for Jade that we will buy tomorrow. Our girl loves to draw and paint, so we found a saturday doorbuster easel. I can't wait to see her on Christmas morning. She is going to have so much fun. Yesterday we all participated in the Dallas Turkey Trot. Jade ran/walked almost the entire 3 miles. I am so proud of my girl. She even got hit by a passing wagon, and still finished the race running! (Not a bad hit, but enough to knock her over and give her a little bruise.) Today we took the dog to the vet for his annual visit. Then came home and got out the tree. Jade helped me decorate and my house is now alight with colors and joy. Then we went to the movies with Aunt Cathi, Sam and Graham. The mall was packed, which was good to see. (I am in retail after all!) And now I am home again with hubby and kiddo, enjoying a bit of quiet. Paul is writing, Jade is painting. and I think I may indulge in a bit of warcraft. :) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
