Dreams: I was in an artist's studio - a loft of some kind - looking at the wild and whimsical furniture this guy made. A middle-aged woman with a blonde bee-hive hairdo came over to me and started talking about some of the pieces. She apparently worked there and was essentially telling me all the reasons I shouldn't like the furniture. One piece was a gigantic footstool in rusty metal with a piece that lifted up. She told me that the artist was still working on that piece. After she had successfully discouraged me from buying anything, I got back on the bus (I must have been on a vacation/road trip/bus tour) with a bunch of other people. We rounded a bend in the road and the landscape changed from desert to incredible canyons of every color. I started to comment to the couple in front of me that it looked like the Grand Canyon, but stopped myself from making such a cliched remark. I also told them I've never been to the Grand Canyon, as if that was important to my non-observation. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
