There are these few days in the spring and then again in the late summer where the temperature is perfect, there is no humidity, the bugs have found some other location to infest, there is no precipitation of any kind - I really dislike not having the weather to bitch about.

TV: Premiere of the 4th season of Queer as Folk. I'll reserve judgment until I see a few more episodes. I'm just waiting for the July return of Dead Like Me.

Movies: The House of Sand and Fog. Despite what I had read about this, I went into convinced that there must be a villain somewhere - one of the characters who was motivated by evil. Instead, it was a story of a group of very flawed human beings, thrown together by chance, all of whom made a series of mistakes that ultimately led them to a tragic set of events. Jennifer Connelly was a ragged mess of a woman, but Ben Kingsley was the amazing center of this wonderful, depressing, startlingly clear movie.

Books: Chasing Cezanne by Peter Mayle. Average art theft mystery. I like his non-fiction better.

Dreams: Some jumbled set of work-related images that made sense to me when I woke up, but are just a vague memory by now.
