it's snowing in Seattle. Big honkin' snowflakes. this is still a rare enough sight here in my city, where I've now lived for FIFTEEN years, that I stood there stunned at the image for a second or three. It is unlikely to last but the weatherniks have been promising/swearing/advising it would come, since like Monday. Hmph.
We don't quite shut down at the sight, but it's a shocker. Given the trip tomorrow and the fact that, well, if you go look at the accuweather website, you'll see their "arthritis index" you can well imagine...let's just say a slug could outrace me today. I may just end UP with the jeans and hairbrush packing routine. Ok, NOT so. Stu will help me pack as he did last trip. But I can't recall ever going somewhere in weather this cold. Eek.
