At Monkey Grind today (Monkey Grind is my coffee hangout; i go every Friday that I can) I picked up a few free "alternative newspapers". One had a gift guide and I remember getting some massive giggles out of it last season; I don't recall what it was but all of us Sad Anoraks wanted something. And as scooted home, looking over the covers, I saw the following. One's a headline, one's an ad. I'm sure BOTH lead to disappointment, but in and of themselves, they offer great mind trips. And I'm not even going to ask what decade it is (you'll understand in a second).
Teaser on the front of the Seattle Weekly reads "STARBUCKS: Can the Wobblies organize baristas?" and on the back page of The Stranger is an ad that reads "Come work for Dr. Groovy!" Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
