As I was getting ready to go out today,my brain supplied a kid's song. I don't know why it came up - this happens a lot - but there it was, this snippet of a tune I don't remember learning. I had to go look it up just to to confirm it was a real song.
But my brain did not supply the real words of the song. So instead of this dumb, innocuous ditty from whatever - elementary school, summer camp - I got something else, because my brain supplied a substitute for the word "hat" And thus we get "My cat it has three corners, three corners has my cat." And before you suggest I ask Stu to explain it - after all, he knows me well, we've been together for a long time, just keep in mind that Stu is the guy who explained to me the other day that the leader of the Garden Gnome Liberation Front (free the gnomes!) is Gnome Chomsky.
