Vanguard - the local sf group - is having a Halloween thing tonight or rather there's a Halloween thing happening at the same time as Vanguard. I don't do costumes because I don't have any clothes that aren't average normal clothes. Haven't in years and don't have the imagination to creat much. I do however have stuff so I'm going to borrow Stu's Banannaanananan (darn!) Republic vest with all the pockets and things, put on my wonderful blue tee with the gorilla on it, and load up on fuzzy toys and go as a modern-day Diane Fossey, of Roscoe's Gorilla Refuge and Petting Zoo. Murray, alpha gorilla (in this crowd he is because despite being a little guy, he wears a propeller beanie, the universal sign of a science fiction fan) will attend along with as many gorilla toys as I can find room for in pockets and carrying cases. And will bring a few banananananans in case anyone gets peckish and doesn't like the food on the table.
