2007-12-23 2:42 PM "I'm glad one of us is mature" Read/Post Comments (6) |
As Stu said this morning, adding "I wonder which one it is." I said it was obviously him. I mean, yeah, he buys and reads comics but they're adult ones, for grown-ups (not "adult" just with stories and artwork by people like oh, Alan Moore). There's no question we both can pass for mature adults but it's just passing. We both know the real truth. We're oversized kids in so many ways.
FedEx delivered a large box yesterday. In it were two of the ROUNDEST, SQUISHIEST, SOFTEST toy animals you have EVER seen in your life. I don't ever want a bad day, but in this weather, really bad days are inevitable, days when the Oxycontin just isn't kicking in and I am so glad that I have a new way of fighting back against the pain. The Squishables HAVE ARRIVED ladies and gentlemen! And oh my GODS are they CUTE! (If you're new here and are going "huh?", see my blog post of 12/12.)
