First person to come up with SOMETHING clever, interesting, unique or truly funny to say about the Spitzer thing gets a prize. I feel like i should have something to say but how can we keep seeing this shit go down and come back with intelligent comments, huh?

ANY New Yorker who has something to say about David Paterson, please post or email me. I'm truly interested in knowing about this man, so if you've ever worked with him, worked on his campaign, lived in his district when he was a state repreaentative, I would truly love to hear about it.

For those who don't know - like you care about US politics if you're outside the US (or even in) the Governor of New York has resigned and the Lieutenant Governor is 53 year old David A Paterson. Paterson is African American - this will make the 4th time in US history that a black person has been a governor. Paterson is also legally blind, has been since birth (apparently no vision in one eye and severely limited vision in the other). As you can imagine, both of these things are of interest to me. I do not know that a visually-impaired person has ever held such a high office in this country.
