1) The remote control, while black and full of buttons, is not the same as the telephone. Even though the telephone is also black and full of buttons.

2) One cannot make a call on the remote. At least not at this time. The remote isn't the iPhone either, which, despite having lots of buttons and looking sorta black, you can make calls with. Although hey, there are far more fun things to do with one than make a boring phone call. However, some things still require phone calls.

3) Um, everyone tries to make phone calls using the remote control for the television, right?
