Amazon.com has a new "policy that blocks "adult" sites. This policy blocks gay and lesbian books. These books no longer show up in Amazon's sales ranks. the stupid hazy unclear definition of "adult" does not include potboilers of any kind, but apparently does include books with gay or lesbian content. See what that means according to author Nicola Griffith.

Sigh the petition, shop at Powell's (including Powells.com), any independent bookstore or Barnes and Noble NOW and in the future.
