Last week, the evil computer gods ate my post and I haven't rewritten it yet. Bear with me would you? I have this really cool post but I have to put it on hold for a day. I have a real cause to tell you about - I know I always am yammering on about stuff but this is personal. Kaitie is the daughter of Cathy Gallagher. I've known Cathy for years. She gave me my start in reviewing and without her, Left Coast Crime 2007 might not have happened.
Okay. So Kaitie has cystic fibrosis. See the link above and please, if you can, help. This year marks the 10th anniversary of her diagnosis. Every year, the family participates in a fundraiser and it's coming in June. This isn't just a "raise money so the foundation offices can get new carpeting. It looks like real work is being done to fine reasons for CF, cures, ways to ease symptoms and to keep patients from getting worse. All that stuff.
