2006-12-03 7:08 PM Tinas, Freddy Tina W. called me last night to gloat about hanging out in Seattle. How nice to have friends to remind you of the cool stuff you're missing...
There was Sangria. And coffee. And a trip to the Science Fiction Museum. ::Sigh.:: # In other news, I finally made it to the end of that "Nightmare on Elm Street" box set I got a few months ago, noticing a very interesting note toward the end of the credits at the end of the last movie in the series, "New Nightmare" (that is, if you dont' count "Freddy vs. Jason"): "Certain aspects were inspired by true events. Much of the rest could be attributed to the over-active imagination of a five-year old boy..." Sort of puts me in mind of the last sentence of Tim Pratt's wonderful book, "Strange Adventures of Rangergirl," which is one of my favorite last sentences of all time: "It was probably all bullshit, but it made a good story."
