Bono sang to me.

And I sang "Happy Birthday" to him.

It was beautiful.

Words failed me in the last 17 hours when I have tried to describe the emotions that coursed my veins yesterday evening at the United Center, as I heard the voice and song that so far has been the only thing in life that can make me weak in the knee.

For the most accurate description, ask Morgan L. and Big Smoothe what happened when Bono took to his drum and I heard that familiar chord progression...and then, "I can't believe the news today..."

All I can recall is haphazardly steadying myself and almost knocking into the spotlight op next to me as I heard Bono wailing, "I can't close my eyes and make it go away..."

The music just fills me...one chord and I fall to pieces.

And, I've just given up my best (or worst) kept secret.

Music is the key to my heart, people. And music that is powerful, poignant and meaninful down to every last note, chord and cadence...well, you had me at "I call myself Bono!"
