Buffalo Gal Judi Griggs I'm a communications professional, writer, cynic, mother, wife and royal pain. The order depends on the day. I returned to my hometown in November 2004 after a couple of decades of heat and hurricanes. I can polish pristine copy, but not here. This is my morning exercise -- 20-minute takes without a net or spellcheck. It's easier than sit ups for me. No guarantee what it will be for you. 2004-11-06 2:43 PM When your cat has thumbs There's something about having thumbs that makes a cat think he's a lot smarter than he actually is.
Little Bit has an extremely exagerrated opinion of himself for the simple fact that he can occasionally manipulate those extra toes to do things beyond the other four-footers in the household. If he sees me put something he wants in a drawer, he will work tirelessly until either he opens the drawer or forces me to get exasperated with his relentless pawing and open it for him. No one ignores Little Bit. I used to play "Bejeweled" on the computer in the evening to unwind. This unfortunately conflicted with Bit's desire to be pet while on my lap. I forced myself to ignore the purring, pawing and rubbing... until he accidentally paused the game by stepping on the keyboard. The next 20 times were not accidents. As I prepare for an interview trip north, the other animals pout at the appearance of suitcases. Little Bit unpacks them and tries to stow away. My internet access will be limited for the next week or so. Take a second look at any blogs that might appear in this space in my absence. It might be Bit.
