LB has added a new word to his vocabulary. And, as I'm sure everyone has guessed, the word is, "no" and he doesn't say it nearly as emphatically as the subject implies. But I'm sure he'll learn to do so.

I found out that he knows this word when we were playing the "can you say _____" game this morning on the changing table. He can say no, and it's so darn cute when he says it. He doesn't quite have the O sound down, so it sounds a bit like "nuh" but he's not yelling it so it's all good. He used it a couple of times today, but he still doesn't have the hang of it completely.

As part of the "can you say ____" game this morning, I asked him if he could say "I love you" and he did, just not with words. He looked at me for a few seconds then grabbed my head and pulled me in to give me a hug and kiss. I think that sums up the "I love you" concept pretty well. OK say it with me now, "awwwwwwww."
