So, it all turned out OK. At school we took 3rd place in the door decorating contest. Here's a picture of the door, and there are some other close ups of various parts of it here. The pictures were taken during 6th period, so some of the decorations weren't there anymore. Still, we were pretty happy to get 3rd place out of the WHOLE school.




On some other notes...

My car has a new water pump-hence the overheating problem- and seems happy, for now. We're at the point now where I start to wonder when it makes more sense to get a different car, rather than pour money into this one. We're not there yet, but we'll see how much longer it lasts.

LB's costume came out pretty well, I've decided that he can wear it next year and that I'll make the hat, and let out the sleeves some, and that I need to figure out a way to get it to stay closed better, and/or a better undergarment for a wizard. The blue onesie and black sweats just didn't cut it. I was unable to find a black onesie so we had to use our navy blue one instead. This, of course, begs the question, what does a wizard wear under his robe? I know what a Scotsman wears under his kilt, but not a wizard under his robe. Hmmmmmm...

And on a happy note, LB now has a swing set, it doesn't have any swings yet, mind you, but it's set up in the yard and that's a start!! I'm going to have to look for swings that he can use right now.

OK, enough news for now-I'm in for another stressful week-grades are due on Monday, I've a TOPS lab in this week, and I'm a bit behind on grading, so UGH!! Anyway, I'm off to get some rest now.
