So many people have put up entries about what they're thankful for, I figured I'd do the same.

1. The best family ever-I couldn't ask for a better child-he's awesome, not perfect, but perfect would be boring. I couldn't ask for a better husband either, he's kind, patient, and puts up with me. Sometimes I think he deserves better (but don't tell him that).

2. My extended family-again, not perfect, but caring, loving, and supportive, even if they sometimes disagree with decisions that we've made. My in-laws and my family are both great.

3. My friends- the friends I have through Enigma, through work, and parents of kids LB's age. What an amazing group of people surround me.


4. My safety-my stress at school/work is caused by worrying about doing the best job that I can and NOT about my own personal safety or the safety of my students.

5. My situation-we have a home and stable incomes and there is nothing that I need that I can't get taken care of. I don't have everything that I want, but that's mostly due to self control, not lack of ability to get it (well except for the hybird Sienna).

6. The freedoms that I have-sometimes I worry that W and his chronies will be working to take some of them away, especially as a jew, but right now compared to many other places, it's still pretty darn good here.
