Wish I could say I had a more restful break, but I didn't, unfortunately.

The first week I had LB in day care 3 days, I think, but spent much of the time those days preparing for the holidays and not doing nearly what I'd hoped to get done. Friday the 23rd we went to Magic Mountain-as is our tradition, but it was a big bummer, they only ran 1 car on most of the rides, when it doesn't take any more personnell to run 2, we hardly got on any rides. LB had a blast though, at least.

The following week, my sister was in town until Wed. and then LB was with me Thurs. & Fri. which meant I didn't get that much done those days.

And here we are at Monday, and I have to go back to work tomorrow and I don't really want to. I could use another week to get some more stuff done. OH well, that's life. I have a bit of work to do for tomorrow, and I'm working on that now, but I'm just grumpy about going back.

I feel like I didn't have that much of an actual break. I'm sure I'll be fine once I get back, but right now, I just don't want to. whine, whine, whine!!

Good way to start the new year huh? OK, I'll stop bitching now.

I'm just hoping that 2006 is better than 2005 (especially the past few months).
