it's alive!!!

The tree rose that Phil gave me for Valentine's Day (he planted it too) for the corner of the front porch that killed the climber (the other two climbers are doing great!!) has finally started showing signs of life. He got the tree rose variety because we think not enough light gets down to the ground level there, and therefore the ground plants wouldn't grow. But the tree rose is up high enough already that it's getting light and now it's going to town. The last 2-3 days have shown DRASTIC differences in its appearance.

So WOO HOO!! I was a bit worried that it was dead or dying since this is the first sign of life that it has shown since it was planted mid February.

Guess I better finish his V-day gift-which is still sitting on my desk-partially done.
