but still a little whiny.
I think that in May or June, near the end of the school year, I put up an entry about possibly getting screwed over this year. Apparently, talking with the administration about this issue, actually worked. There are a bunch of people teaching the worrisome class, luckily, I'm not one of them. A few days ago, one of my colleagues was pretty unhappy when the one thing she'd been promised was not given to her. But as of right now, that's been fixed. When I first came back, my schedule looked like this: Per. 1 AP Physics (B&C) Per. 2 Physics Per. 3 Physics Per. 4 Prep Per. 5 Chem Per. 6 Chem It was just about the perfect schedule, the only change I could have hoped for would have been to have my prep per. 2 instead of 4 and then I'd have AP, then a break, then Physics, then a break(lunch), then Chemistry. Apparently it was too perfect!! Well not really, but they ended up having to juggle around a bunch of classes and so my schedule got messed with just a little bit. So now I have a Chem. per. 4 and my prep per. 5. Other than that it's unchanged. It's kind of troublesome, because I figured I'd have time at lunch to set up Chem labs, but not anymore. But overall, I'm NOT displeased, not at all. Considering what some other teachers are having to do. So, right now I feel valued, and heard, and appreciated. But I'm also feeling just a little bit less than 100% happy. Really, I've got no grounds to whine or complain, things could be much worse and overall I'm happy too. Now I just have to wait until Monday to see how my kids seem. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
