Missing Frustrations

Thursday evening I began to make sure everything that I needed was in the bin that I use for cake class. I had a class on Friday. As I was putting stuff in, I noticed that my tip container wasn't there. That was odd. I used it a week ago and then hadn't touched the bin since then except to take out the dirty pieces to be washed and put the unused frosting bags in the refrigerator.

I looked around for it but didn't find it and then figured that I must have accidentally left it behind at the cake class.

I called Friday morning before I headed out for class to ask if it was there. They said that it wasn't. Again, I though, how odd, where could it be?

So I went to class and just bought the tips I needed for the class (I had a few that were in the dirty dishes so hadn't lost ALL of them). The other woman who was there at the same time that I was there was also supposed to come in for class, and I hoped that maybe I had left the tips and that she had accidentally picked them up thinking that they were hers. Unfortunately she called and cancelled and so I didn't get to ask her about them.

I got home after class and looked all around again-still, nothing. I ended up calling the cake place and asking them to call the woman who was supposed to be there and ask her if she might have accidentally picked up my tip case too. They did and she said that she didn't have it.

OK, so now I'm totally baffled. The case has apparently disappeared into thin air. If it made it home with me, it should have been in the bin, and if not, then someone else has it.

I'm really irritated by this whole thing. I don't do this type of thing very often (but I WAS in a hurry to leave that day) and it's made that much worse because the case and most of the tips were a gift.

Aargh, so frustrating.
