Some days are just bittersweet. Like today. I brought Luke with me to Virginia Tech to be with Stephanie on her graduation day. She's excited and lovely and eager for all life has to offer. She's worked hard and stands today surrounded by admiring family and friends. Her Uncle Jim adored her. We were last on this campus to watch her play softball. The girl seemed to spend significant time on the front page of sports sections for her pitching ability and her Uncle Jim loved to watch her. One of my favorite photos is of the two of them just after a game, laughing and posing together. I know he's so proud of you today, sweetheart.
