I got married today. Didn't know I was going to when I woke up. One just never knows what the day will bring. Actually, I agree with Erma Bombeck that sometimes "people shop for a bathing suit with more care than they do a husband or wife. The rules are the same. Just look for something you'll feel comfortable wearing and allow for room to grow."

Actually, this has been coming. And more than a great deal of thought has gone into it. William is a fine man, a fun traveling partner, a great daily companion in life, considerate, well-mannered and downright handsome. He has a real job, is active in his church and has the respect of many. And he's a great dad. He's tender and respectful around the subject of Jim. I have grown to love him and admire him. Several of my spiritual teachers have joined me in prayer these last months, asking that the path of my life be made clear and suddenly on Monday it was. As Erma Bombeck said, "Seize the moment. Remember all those women on the 'Titanic' who waved off the dessert cart."
