Today was a highlighted day for Mother! She's been anxiously awaiting this day........10am to be exact. Today was our appointment with our probate attorney so Mother could update her will and powers, make some changes, and bring them into compliance with Texas law. She'd been giving much thought to a few changes. The changes were made and by the time we left the office, she had won over even the secretaries with her eccentric charm.

I thought this a good time for me to pick up copies of my will and powers so I too can make some desired changes. Having experienced the importance of being prepared twice in my life, (father and husband), this is not something I put off. My Dad was not prepared in any way; my husband was completely prepared with everything in perfect order. What a blessing to those left behind -
