Today I found an office with good energy! Finally! I've been looking at offices inside the Loop for weeks, stealing moments within the house renovation project to take quick looks at available space. The psychiatrist and the other therapists seem pleasant and it feels right. God continues to make the way clear.....I've stopped at the red light by this building for over two decades and always felt some sort of warm connection to it. I was pleased to read an ad in the professional journal from one of the therapists interested in sharing his upstairs office. He works in Dallas three days a week and in Houston the other two. However, my clients nor I would do well in a sparsely furnished office with low-slung, all black leather furniture and I have several wheel-chair bound clients that took the upstairs office out of consideration. Turns out that the psychiatrist owner also had an unoccupied office downstairs; the therapist (an old colleague of mine I'd lost touch with years ago) just moved on to retirement and they hadn't even advertised the space yet. It's an old house in the Village and it's a good sign that everyone in the offices have been there for two decades. The owner is even putting new carpet in the office.

Now on to get a phone, stationery, and business cards.
