Today is the birthday of two of my friends, Beve and Eleanor. I'm never sure which one has the most energy and determination when we're working on an association project or just having fun - it's a close call. Beautiful, Enthusiastic and Wonderful women both!

Bill and I met Luke and Nadia for dinner this evening at loud, rowdy, colorful Chuy's up on Westheimer. Several friends about town dropped by the table to say hi, the food was great and speaking only for myself, there was definitely more of me when I left than when I arrived...if you get my drift. Many believe Chuy's has the best Tex-Mex in town but the parking and lines can be a challenge. It's a hard call for me as I usually vote with Uncle Kevin for Pappasito's. Delightful conversation and company; hard to find the right words to say how grateful I'm sure we all are to see the tenderness between Luke and Nadia. He is smiling and happy again and I love it! I think our family is blessed to have this lovely, bright young woman in our midst!

Now can someone do something about this humid July heat? please
