Mother continues to win at Bingo and has enough free breakfast coupons to last for a month. Today we went shopping and out to lunch and I took care of the ‘Karen pile”. The “Karen pile” is where Mother stacks everything that confuses her or doesn’t work. When I arrive, I go to work on this stack and can usually take care of everything in a short time. I love having her close by. Having an elderly parent to care for and see after is an honor and unshirkable (is that really a word?) responsibility. This evening she panicked again at being unable to find her return address labels. Replacing those will top my list tomorrow morning.
