Morning:
Luke and I had an early lunch at funky local neighborhood spot today. It's hard to say much about Luke except that he continues to be a solidly good human being. It's a privilege to be able to say that about a child; that one loves, likes and respects that child as they watch them move through their adulthood. 'Course I've been blessed to have more than a few of that description! Noon: Love traveling the road back out to The Woodlands for all kinds of Saturday afternoon appointments, visiting with friends up there in the far north, and making a Central Market dinner stop. Night: I was a nervous wreck sitting in the stands watching our UH Cougars at the game. They fumbled the ball and dropped passes with heartbreak regularity in the first moments of the game against Oklahoma State. Then, without notice, they woke up, caught on and showed up for the game! Quarterback Kevin K threw for 313 yards and four touchdowns to give us a 34-25 win, keeping us undefeated! We even, albeit running using trash bags for impromptu raingear, made it to our car before the deluge hit with force early in the fourth quarter. Go Coogs!
