Hail. When’s the last time I saw hail? Years. Suddenly this afternoon, sitting in my office working on files, the sharp pounding on the window began. My thoughts went “Hail! Nah. Wonder what it is?...getting louder…wow…getting lots louder. Better look out the window…whoa. It’s hail. Bouncing high on the ground and seemingly higher off my car parked out on the open lot!” So there you have it. A sunny day, add a couple of clouds, and wah-la! Hail suddenly surprises the town. Museum District got it the worst, I think, which is right where my office is. Pounded us for maybe 10 minutes then subsided. Going to another party tonight. Will check for vehicle damage at morning light.
