The azaleas are beginning to bloom right on time ~ a full two weeks ahead of the Azalea Trail. And wouldn’t you know the patch blooming first is the area we thought was not going to make it this year! Life is like that sometimes, I think, especially people. The ones you think you know what to expect from, well, turns out you didn’t know at all. Kind of like that bumper sticker, the more people I get to know, the more I like my dog. Speaking of dogs, Lexy is recovering from a kidney infection. Our little shadow who follows us from room to room became lethargic and stopped eating last week. Vet furnished us these pills we have to give her twice a day (as in push down the back of her throat). She’s taking them amazingly well, no problem at all, and appears to be her old self again. I really love this dog ~ she has a way of just making love and life better every day.
