Have attempted two outings in the last couple of days. Trying to see if I can build some stamina for returning to work later this week. Girlfriend picked me up Friday and took me to see Harry Potter IMAX - where I promptly fell asleep about 20 minutes into it. (so much for stamina) She was shaking me awake to put my 3-D glasses on at the critical moment about 20 minutes before the end. Enjoyed what I was awake to see but then I'm a Potter fan so I really don't get disappointed. Even so, better go again I guess to actually see the whole thing. Or better yet, begin the book sitting on the family room table.

This afternoon, after a fun surprise visit from out of town family, Bill took me to see Hairspray. Now, while getting out and moving around in all these bandages, etc. isn't easy, I did at least manage to stay awake for the entire movie - loved it - Travolta fan also. Due to having spent the last period of time having to be relatively still, I caught the cast on several TV interview shows last week including Travolta on Oprah who was fabulous and funny. The audience was so loud and over the top it was hard for Travolta to get a word in! The man's got some serious fans. Several cast members said they had so much fun making the movie they wondered if it would ever rap up. I hope staying awake through the entire movie means my goal of increasing stamina is improving!
