Words and feelings that begin with A…..
Action: Bourne Ultimatum – gripping seats of chair good. Watched a young couple bring in their 4-yr-old daughter and newborn and had to restrain Bill from going over and telling them that this wasn’t a children’s movie. Watched them walk out halfway through, in midst of a yet another particularly violent scene. Matt Damon rocks.
Affection: Spending afternoon with Cypress grandchildren on Sunday. Great time eating buffalo wings, swimming, playing with Lexy….older one showing me his new (first) email….ice cream on the way home. School starts tomorrow. Youngest one continues to grow a foot at a time, I swear.
Angry………yep, very, when anyone is treated unjustly with malice. There should be a law against mean people!
Anxious: Saw a marquee for the upcoming film based on my very favorite book, Kite Runner, to be released November 2, 2007 by DreamWorks. For the first time in my life, I might be waiting in line outside a theatre. If you haven’t read this phenomenal book, it covers the final days of the monarchy in Afghanistan to the cruel atrocities of the Taliban reign and includes the requisite love, betrayal, fear, loyalty and deep friendship. Cannot wait!! Read the book 4 times!
Animated: Nice word to describe my state when I opened the door this evening to be met by Lexy’s slobbery kisses. She (aka Houdini) had chewed her large metal crate apart and spent the day living the high life on our bed and the sofa. To say Bill was not happy when he arrived home would be a gross understatement.
