The holiday music officially made its debut in our life last evening. As we left the family Thanksgiving, Bill surprised me by popping in a Christmas CD he'd brought from home. It was a wonderful surprise. I love holiday music, pretty much all of it except maybe The Twelve Days of Christmas which I tired of long ago except for Garrison Keillor's version. There were several silly ones we played traditionally while the boys were growing up. Interestingly, they were different than the ones played for the first kids and different from the ones played for the grandchildren. Might be interesting to give that a little thought one of these days. I actually do have some favorites and this year I want to add Garrison Keillor's Christmas CD and also the Garrison Keillor and Paula Poundstone CD. Wow. That must mean I've started my holiday wish list.......
